Two Pitmasters who have been regulars at the Kentucky State BBQ Festival since its beginnings four years ago are featured in this episode of TV’s BBQ Pitmasters.

In this video, Craig Kimmel of Firehouse BBQ in DeLand, FL, a perennial favorite of KY State BBQ Festival attendees faces off against the legendary Johnny Trigg or Alvarado, TX and Corey Brinson of Fatback’s BBQ and Rib Shack of Fayetteville, NC.

Moe Cason of Ponderosa BBQ, another fan favorite at the Festival judges the competition along with Myron Mixon and Tuffy Stone.

The proteins chosen for this competition were Beef Ribs and Pork Belly. About halfway through the competition the Pitmasters were subjected to the Kingsford One-Bite Challenge, which called for them to make a one-bite dish featuring catfish.
