Oh My Me – 3:30pm on the Main Stage – Oh My Me was formed in Lexington, KY in 2010. With a wildly-varying musical background, the group blends an eclectic mix of battering drums, psychedelia & heavy-soul vocals to form it’s uniquely theatrical sound. Oh My Me at ReverbNation.

Saturday Night Blues Party

Little T&A – 6:15pm on the Main Stage – Little T & A has quickly become Louisville’s premiere rhythm & blues/rock & roll band. Guitarist Tony Tkac and vocalist Amy Johnson (T & A), founded the band and recruited old friends and past band mates who just happened to be some of Louisville’s local legends. Sonny Yingst Band – 7:30pm on the Main Stage – Sonny Yingst has been playing music for more than 35 years. As a child, he grew up listening to blues and gospel recordings as well as rock and country legends. His father also played music and introduced him to the Grand Ole Opry at a young age. The Stella Vees will perform at the Saturday Night Blues Party, 2012 KY State BBQ FestivalThe Stella Vees – 9:00pm on the Main Stage – The Stella-Vees Blues Band plays Chicago and West Coast style blues reflecting influences of legendary blues musicians like T-Bone Walker, Hollywood Fats, Magic Sam and Little Walter. Formed in 2001 with four musicians who hosted the Lexington (KY) Blues Society’s weekly jam sessions, The Stella-Vees capture many qualities of the early blues. Custom Made Bluegrass – 1:00pm on the Main Stage – A bluegrass band based in central Kentucky we travel across the country playing traditional bluegrass with a twist. This custom made style of bluegrass has generated the comment “I did not think I liked bluegrass until I heard you guys” on many occasions. Custom Made Bluegrass website.

The Mojos – 3:00pm on the Main Stage – After trying several names, we decided it would be simple and perhaps effective to use part of the Mojo Filter Kings name. After all, three of us used to be in that band, and we thought some people who used to go see us then might want to come and see this new band. The Mojos on ReverbNation.

Long Tall Deb will perform on Sunday afternoon at the KY State BBQ FestivalLong Tall Deb – 5:00pm on the Main Stage – Blues for the People! Fast gaining a reputation as one powerhouse blues/ soul vocalist and songwriter to watch for, Deb Landolt continues to bring audiences to their knees wherever she goes.     I would greatly recommend inviting The Sonny Yingst Band back for 2013. They are an awesome Blues Act. Also, how do you audition a band for the Festival ? There are some local bands interested. Myself encluded. Thanks Y’all for a GREAT Event.
