Kentucky State BBQ Festival makes donation to Heart of Kentucky United Way
Danville KY – After a mind-blowingly successful first-ever event in 2011, the Kentucky State BBQ Festival presented a donation to the Heart of Kentucky United Way from a portion of its proceeds.

The festival and Heart of Kentucky United Way began their partnership during the early stages of planning the event.

The total donation from the festival to Heart of Kentucky United Way was $2500.

Festival organizer Brad Simmons said, “for the Kentucky State BBQ Festival to receive the trust and support and partner with Heart of Kentucky United Way, an organization that represents so many worthy causes – and touches some many lives, is truly an honor. We will always do our best for Heart of Kentucky United Way and look forward to a long partnership.”
