The Kentucky State BBQ Festival will be open today from 11:00am until 6:15pm.

The day kicks off at 12:15pm with Tim Mikeska doing a demo and build up to the Mike Mills Whole Hog Presentation, which is scheduled to start at 1:00pm.

At 3:0pm, the Bankesters out of Indianapolis take to the Main Stage to paly some of the best bluegrass ever. And their harmonies are some the best you’ll ever hear.

4:15 pm brings the Pitmaster Presentations to the Main Stage and at 5:00pm all raffle sales close.

Beginning at 5:00pm, the Bean Eating Contest begins with Jamie gearing up for another victory. But the competition is getting better every year. Can Jamie do it again?

5:30pm is time for the Hog Calling Contest. No one has actually succeeded in attracting a hog, but it’s fun watching them try.

Door Prize drawings follow at 5:45pm and then…

At 6:15pm, another great Kentucky State BBQ Festival will come to an end. The 7th Even Kentucky State BBQ Festival will be held September 8, 9 & 10, 2017. See you all then!

And don’t forget one last day for all that great BBQ being served by our Pitmasters along 2nd Street. Visit our Vendor and Sponsor tents throughout the Festival site.

Pitmasters, music, food, vendors, beer, wine, Four Roses Bourbon, Pepsi and kid’s activities. We have something for everyone, even Vegans :-).
